A Legacy of Love & Resilience
Forever Etched was born from heartbreak and hope. In 1997, our founder Elizabeth Laurent lost her grandmother—a master jeweler who fled war-torn Europe with nothing but her tools and a handful of precious stones sewn into her coat. The heirloom ring her grandmother crafted became Elizabeth's only physical connection to her family's legacy.
When that treasured ring was stolen, Elizabeth made a life-altering decision. Abandoning her corporate career, she apprenticed with an aging artisan who had once worked alongside her grandmother. For three years, she lived in near poverty, learning techniques passed down through generations, determined to recreate not just the lost ring, but the profound connection it represented.
What began as a personal healing journey transformed into Forever Etched—a sanctuary where metals and gems become vessels for the most profound human emotions. Today, our small team of master artisans creates pieces that aren't merely worn but felt, each one carrying stories that transcend lifetimes.
